I lived in No 43 Apt # 2, from 1966 - 1971. I was 10 years old when we moved in from Navyug Colony. I hope some of the old timers are still around (Harshad Sarvaiya, Ghanshyam Sarvaiya, Yatin Desai, Sanat?, Atul Joshi, Anil Joshi (Chiko), Mangi (Shailini - Yatin's sister), Naina, Kakudi (Kokila?) and her brother Nitin (their Dad had a shop in Manek Chowk - Gandhi), Hansa and many others. The road was not paved, it was gravel and mud. The wall to the kabrastan was only 3-4 feet high, we would go into the kabrastan for Amli, bor, jambu and jamphal. The taller wall was built soon after we moved in. Only three houses were 2 stories- The Sarvaiya, across from us, the jninjhuvadia, and the Joshi. Except for two houses none of the houses had compound walls. It was ahuge space for us to play. Oh the memories. By the way - My name is Shekhar Patel - I am now in USA since last 26 years (Professor in a Medical College).

My dear fellow placemarker. It is not Ambli railway station, but Ambli Road stn. Ambli is near Bopal. If a station is located away from a village / town but yet serving it, the word road is added. Like Dahanu Road and Mira Road near Mumbai.
